Ion Exchange Based Treatment

APIPL, having gained its expertise in Ion exchange based treatment Plant design, offers treatment method to carry out wide range of specialized applications. We have also developed innovative methodologies to implement ion exchange technologies to extract maximum efficiency with minimum capital and operating cost.
  • Demineralisation plants: For the total removal of cations and anion present in the water. We use different combination of resin to treat the raw water to make the ultra pure water. Our systems are consisting of Co current, counter current, lead-lag, packed bed and combination of Reverse osmosis followed by ion exchange.

  • Softener: For the removal of Hardness from water. Widely used for low and medium pressure boilers and cooling towers.

  • Selective resin Treatment: For the removal of selective ions from the raw water. Fluoride, Nitrate, Arsenic, Heavy metals etc. can be removed and recovered through this process.

  • Brine recovery: A new combination of process which will recover the major part of brine from the Waste solutions.

  • Decasuticisers: Used to remove caustic from the effluent water. This method is used in bottle washing effluent recovery and such applications where caustic soda will be added the process.

  • Organic Scavenging: Organic Scavenging is primarily used for the removal of the micro organisms from water. This process will used in both pre-treatment and post-treatment applications and widely used in ion exchange and membrane based treatment plants.

  • Condensate polishing unit: Used for condensate de-oiling and make up water purification. The treatment systems are made to operate with less operator intervene, high efficiency, accommodate large volume of condensates, high velocity and high quality at treated condensate.
